Astrophotography - Large Moon Rising
March 19th, 2011 a super moon is forecast to appear. Its a great opportunity for those who have a telescope camera to take some close up photo's of the moon. The last opportunity this occurred was in 1993. Feel free to inquire about us hosting your images.

50,000 Photos Donated
In a welcomed move, the State Library of Queensland has donated 50,000 photos to Wikimedia Commons. In case you didn't know Wikimedia is a free repository of image & sound files which can be used anywhere on the web. A direct link to the Queensland State Library archive can be found here and one to the German Federal Archive can be found here.
