The Largest-Ever Digital Color Image Of The Sky
Taken from the SDSS imaging camera a reported 1.2 trillion pixel image is available for public download. The image covers a third of the night sky and is part of an on going project to map the structure and dynamics of the Milky Way. More information can be found here.

The world's largest digital cameras
Pan-STARRS (Panoramic Survey Telescope & Rapid Response System) telescope which is also know as PS1 reportedly has the worlds largest digital cameras and are able to map one-sixth of the sky each month. Each of its four cameras are capable of capturing around 1.4 billion pixels. Read more about this here.
