Cloud Computing

Okay you probably wondering what cloud computing is.....basically all your applications are run remotely on another server instead of your own hard drive making a new line of computers slimmer, faster and cheaper to buy.

Here is a cloud computing demo of a new OS which uses this technology and another one can be found here.

Obviously there are questions about security , privacy and use in countries which don't support fast broad band speeds but all in all (cloud computing) is an interesting new concept.

17th Industrial Virtual Reality Expo

This year I received a free invite to attend the World's largest trade show focusing on the virtual reality industry. The 17th IVR Expo was held this year between June 24th and 26th, 2009 at Tokyo Big Sight, Japan. There was a lot to cram into the time I had allocated but worth the trip.
